I hope you can

wrapped up,

concerned with me,

and only me

not showing love

for those who got me here

I left you back, behind me

not supporting you,

but expecting you

to support me.

I don’t know what got into me

arrogance, blinding arrogance

so desperate to make it

to get to that level

obsessed with this desire to be the best

not realizing the truth.

Admittedly, yea I had a rough patch

but that’s no excuse

for what I did to my supporters

my family away from home.

My eyes have been opened

I can see now what I did

“So starting today, I’m breaking out of this cage”
